Pricing is authoritative on Google Play / App Store receipts. Authenticated installs read `/v1/subscription/plans` for SKU visibility.

Why buy in-app?

  1. Receipts originate from Apple/Google; workers hit `/v1/iap/*/verify` idempotently.
  2. When `capabilities.iap_purchase` is false, plan arrays stay empty intentionally.
  3. We purposely avoid standalone web billing to reduce PCI scope creep.

No AdSense in the primary narrative column to reduce IAP friction; the desktop sidebar may host the §5.5 “slot-sidebar” unit — matching the aside on this page.
